Updates

1.0.0 (first release)

Added

• Prayer times on your TV: for your city and the calculation method you choose, with the next athan and a countdown always in view.
• The athan at each prayer time: a choice of reader for each prayer, and a "listen first" button.
• Hijri date and moon phase: with a setting to move the Hijri date by a day or two when your local moon sighting differs.
• A verse, a hadith and a Name: a verse of the Quran and a hadith on screen in Arabic, with a translation in your language where one is available (otherwise in English, and it says so). One of the 99 Names of Allah appears at the start of each minute.
• Iqamah and Jumu'ah times: for your mosque, if you turn them on. The next iqamah shows under the moon.
• Reminders and a quiet chime: before each prayer.
• The Quran player and reader: listen to the Quran with a choice of reciters, or read it on screen.
• Photo backgrounds: Shuffle all photos is the default. You can choose a group of photos, a single photo, or the built-in dunes.
• A dhikr screen saver: by default during the night hours (01:00 to 05:00), or at hours you choose, or any time the TV is left alone. Any button or mouse move brings the screen back. The Names of Allah can be added.
• Find my location: press it on the first screen or in Settings, and the TV suggests your country and city. You always check them before anything is saved.
• Prayer settings for South Asia: Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Afghanistan start with the Karachi method and Hanafi Asr. You can change both.
• 11 languages: English, Arabic, Turkish, Urdu (in Nastaliq script), Hindi, Bengali, Pashto, Dari, Spanish, Somali and Indonesian. All but English are early versions and say "(beta)".
• Free and unlock: a 7-day free trial of everything on each TV. Prayer times, the athan, the Hijri date, the daily verse and hadith, the Names of Allah and iqamah times stay free for ever. A one-time unlock on our website covers up to 3 TVs in one home.
• An optional account: link your TVs to your account by scanning a code with your phone.
• Display and remote: sleep dimming at night, a monthly calendar, a "Lite" mode for slower TVs, and full control with the TV remote.
